WB Board Result 2021 for classes 10th and 12th will announce in the month of July. The evaluation criteria for both standards have been released today. WBBSE Class 10th result will be based on internal exams of class 9 and class 10. Whereas, WBCHSE Class 12th Result would depend on marks scored by the student in class 10, 11 and internal assessment of class 12.
The Class 10 and 12 Board examinations were cancelled by the state government on June 7, 2021 in view of the prevailing COVID 19 situation. Much like the CBSE Board, the West Bengal Board would also give the chance to students to appear for the examination in case they so wish. The date for these exams would be announced later.
WB Board Result 2021: Evaluation Criteria
- For Class 10 students, the board will adopt the 50:50 formula with equal emphasis on the class 9 mark sheet and class 10 internal formative assessment. All the subjects of class 10 will have an independent assessment.
- WB Class 12th students will be evaluated according to a 40:60 ratio. 40 per cent of the result will be the best of four from the class 10th mark sheet. And, 60 per cent will be based on class 11 annual exams and practical/ project of class 12th which had happened before the second wave of COVID.

Mahua Das, President of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education said that the authorities of higher secondary schools have been asked to submit the annual exam results of the candidates by June 23, 2021. The state government decided to cancel the board examination in the interest of the safety of the students.
