Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education, TS BIE has cancelled the TS Inter Exams 2021 for 2nd year candidates. Also, TS Inter 1st year exams have been deferred and the State Government has directed authorities to promote Class 11 students to Class 12. Students will be evaluated on the basis of pre-defined objective criteria.
In view of the pandemic, the state government released an official notice asking authorities to submit the evaluation criteria for Class 12 students to the government for the purpose of approval. The state governments asked the state board to issue a notice to promote all Class 11 students to Class 12.
Media reports state that the first year or Class 11 exams have not been cancelled. The board plans to conduct TS 1st year exams at a later date. Although, no official order has been issued regarding this.

Previously, the state government had announced the cancellation of Class 10 or SSC exams. The government informed that students would be evaluated on the basis of criteria developed by the SSC board. Students would be allowed to appear for examination later on if they are not satisfied with their results.
About Telangana, TS Inter Exams 2021
TS BIE conducts the intermediate examinations for Classes 11 and 12 or 1st and 2nd year students. The exams are usually conducted in the month of February and the results are announced early in April.
This year, TS BIE 1st 2nd Year exams were postponed due to the second wave of COVID. The board had earlier decided to conduct the examinations.
State Government’s decision to cancel comes after many state boards, CISCE and CBSE announced their decision to cancel Class 12 examinations due to the pandemic situation. TSBIE will issue the evaluation criteria for Telangana 2nd Year Intermediate Exam 2021 soon.
