National Testing Agency, NTA has released an important in regards the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2021 exam date. As pert the notice, now available on nta.ac.in, the circular available online claiming NEET would be conducted on September 5 is fake.
The agency has further stated that it is still in consultation with the concerned stakeholders. The circular is seen as an attempt to misguide the parents and students as well as the general public at large.
The circular also asks students only to rely on information published on nta.ac.in as well as ntaneet.nic.in. The information in regards the exam date and registration process, would be announced soon.
The notice reads, ‘The NTA is still in consultation with the concerned Stakeholders for finalizing a suitable date for the conduct of NEET (UG) – 2021, keeping in view the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The Public at large is advised to pay no heed to such miscreants and misinformation.’
NEET 2021 on August 1? Exam postponed
As for the earlier exam date of August 1, 2021 – officials have confirmed that the date has been postponed. Fresh notice in regards NEET 2021 would be released by NTA in due course of time. As to the possible date of release, there was no confirmation shared.
NEET 2021 Exam Date – Fake Notice
A circular claiming that NEET UG 2021 would be conducted on September 5, 2021 was circulated on social media on July 5, 2021. The notice, made available on the internet soon after the announcement of JEE Main 2021 dates for April and May session promptly went viral. It had also promised that the registration process would soon start on the official website.
Meanwhile, JEE Main 2021 registration process for April session has been concluded and the registration for May session has begun. NTA would be announcing the complete schedule for JEE Main 2021 examination. For NEET, students would have to wait a little longer.
