Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2021: 100% passed, 2,239 students score full marks- details here

Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2021 was declared today at 04:30 pm. This year, all students have qualified the examination. A total of 5,90,153 students registered for the examination. Students who registered for the examination can check the result of the official websites karresults.nic.in or pue.kar.nic.in.

Education Minister Suresh Kumar said in the press conference, “with a 100 % pass percentage this year, there is more demand for colleges. Thus, additional seats have been assured by the Department of Education.”

The board has decided not to release a merit list this year. A total of 2,239 students obtained full marks that is 600 out of 600 in the board examination. This year, there was a 30 per cent increase in the first-class marks obtained by the students compared to the examination held last year.

In comparison with the year 2020, the board recorded an increase of 50 per cent in second class and 33 per cent more students scored distinction in the exam. A total of 2,19,777 students appeared for the Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam 2021 in science stream, 2,51,686 in the commerce stream and 69,529 in arts stream.

In terms of Karnataka Region-wise distinction, Bangalore East has 302 distinction holders, Dakshin Kannada has 445, Bangalore North gas 341 and Udupi district has 352.  The board released the result on the basis of the internal assessment policy. The state government cancelled the examination in view of the rising COVID cases in the state.

The result was calculated on the basis of marks obtained by students in Class 10th and 1st PUC. The board will conduct special exams for the students who are not satisfied with their result. The special exams will be conducted in the month of August.
