Haryana schools would reopen for offline classes from July 16. Confirming the news, the state Education Minister informed that the Haryana schools would reopen for students of classes 9 to 12 at present.
Haryana Education Minister, Kanwar Pal Singh today informed the reporters that schools would be reopened in the state after the end of the on-going summer vacations. He also shared that the preparation work for the same has been completes across the schools.
School Reopening – Only for Classes 9 to 12 at present
In the first phase, only the classes for students of IX to XII would be conducted in the schools. Decision to reopen the schools for other classes has not been taken as yet. He added that if the situation continue to remain normal, smaller classes would also be allowed.
Speaking to reporters, the minister informed that the summer holidays would end on July 15 and schools would be reopened in the state. “The situation of COVID-19 in Haryana is completely normal and very few fresh positive cases are being reported,” he added.
Haryana has reported less than 100 cases everyday this week. The state reported 55 new cases on July 8 and 10 fatalities. It has just over 1000 active cases in the state.
As for the preparations, he has assured that all necessary precautions would be taken. COVID19 protocols of social distancing and mandatory masks. He has not shared whether attendance would be mandatory or voluntary at present.
After reopening schools in the month of January this year, Haryana Government had again ordered the closure of schools in March. Summer vacations were announced and all classes, including online, were suspended in the state. While private schools have resumed classes, government school students have not started with the new session as yet.
As for the previous batch, Haryana Board HBSE 12th Result 2021 is likely to be released by July 20. The exact date has not been shared as yet. HBSE class 10 results 2021 – for both regular and Haryana Open School students has been released on bseh.org.in.
