The state board announced the cancellation of exams due to the rising cases of COVID 19. The result is calculated on the basis of the evaluation criteria released by the board. Class 12th result will depend on the performance of students in Classes 10th, 11th and 12th in the ratio of 50:25:25.

Students who are not satisfied with their result can appear for the special exams which will be conducted by the board when the situation is conducive. This year, around 5.43 lakh students have registered for the General Stream exams. Last year, a total of 76.29 per cent students qualified the examination.

A total of 70.97 male students passed the examination held in 2020. Whereas, 82.2 per cent of girls qualified the examination last year. According to the rules of the board, students need to obtain a minimum of Grade ‘D’ to pass the examination. Students belonging to PWD category need to score 20 per cent marks to qualify the exam.
