Andhra Pradesh Inter 2021 and AP SSC 2021 exams have been cancelled. Board of Intermediate Education AP, BIEAP would declare AP Board Results 2021 by July 31. After the Supreme Court hearing, State Education Minister Adimulapu Suresh announced the decision of exam cancellation. AP government decided to cancel AP Board Exams 2021 following the orders issued by the apex court to complete the entire examination process by July 31, 2021.
“The Supreme Court gave orders to complete the examination process by July 31, 2021. We are not in a position to conduct exams in the shortest possible time. We have decided to cancel the Intermediate second year exams. An expert panel will be constituted to decide on awarding marks to the students,” said Education Minister.
Effectively, AP Inter 2nd Year Exam 2021 as well as AP SSC Exam 2021 for classes 12 and 10 now stand cancelled. The decision was taken after Supreme Court reprimanded the state on its decision to go ahead with the exams.
AP Board Result 2021: Evaluation Criteria
The state government has decided to promote SSC students on the basis of their performance from classes 7 to 9. Earlier today, the court questioned the state government’s decision to conduct board exams in the month of July.
As for the evaluation criteria for AP Inter 2nd Year Exams 2021, the criteria would be released in 10 days time. Informing the Supreme Court of the decision, the board has assured that the AP Inter 2nd Year Results 2021 would be released by July 31, as mandated.

SC on AP Board Exams 2021
The Supreme Court had told the Andhra Pradesh government on June 22 that it will not allow it to conduct AP Board Exams 2021 unless satisfied that there will be no fatality due to COVID 19.
SC remarked that it was not convinced of the precautionary measures suggested for holding board exams. The apex court had also warned that it would hold the state responsible in case of even a single fatality. The court advised AP government to seek help from CBSE, ICSE and UGC for formulating an evaluation policy.

The state government filed an affidavit to the court saying there is no “reliable alternative” to the Inter exams. The board said that Inter Exams are important as state CET holds 25 per cent weightage of this exam. This year, around 5 lakh students registered for the AP Inter Exams.
